WILLIAM (BILL) CHARLES FAWCETT 1929 - 2009 It is with sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Bill on Thursday, November 26, 2009. Bill is survived by his sister Marian and brother-in-law Keith, nephews, Scott (Marcella) Warner and Kurt (Tracy) Warner. He will be fondly remembered by his family, many friends and neighbours. Bill was fond of playing baseball, tennis, and bowling in his younger years. He enjoyed boating, swimming, and walking at Grand Marais, at the cottage, where he spent most of his summer weekends. Bill loved gardening and was very proud of his roses. Bill was a member of the Masons, Preceptory and the Shriners. When Bill joined the Shriners he was the youngest member, a fact he was proud of. Bill was employed as an electrical assembler for 48 years by James B. Carter, which later became Temro, then Budd. He was looking forward to his upcoming 80th birthday on December 28. Funeral service will take place on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
