GERTRUDE ANNA STEVENS (nee HOFFMAN) June 23, 1911 - November 27, 2009 Peacefully Gertie passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Centre on November 27, 2009 at the age of 98. Mom is survived by son Holly, grandchildren Scott (Rhea) Stevens, Shawna Bowerman, Stacy (Jay) St. Godard, Steve (Sue) Hetherington, Rick (Jan) Hetherington, 12 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren, sister Hertha Mentall from La Mesa, California, Gladys Webb from Qualicum Beach, BC, sisters-in-law Ruth Hoffman from Qualicum Beach, BC, Charlotte Hoffman from Vancouver, BC along with many nieces and nephews and cousins. Mom was predeceased by parents, Frank and Bertha Hoffman, husband David Stevens, daughters, Joy Stevens and Joan Hetherington and son-in-law Bill, daughter-in-law Cora, brothers Walter Hoffman and Leo Hoffman and brothers-in-law Al Mentall and Jack Webb. Gertie worked for T. Eaton in the mail order until her retirement. She was the past president of Deer Lodge Ladies Curling Club. In lieu of flowers, a donation to a charity of your choice. As per her wishes, there will be no formal service. A private family interment has taken place. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
