Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVERNA KVERN (nee BATTELLINO) Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Verna, beloved wife of Virgil, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at the Riverview Health Centre, at the age of 83 years. Verna is survived by her loving husband Virgil; daughter Lori (Rob); son Dave; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brother Roy and sister Vi of California. Verna lived in Winnipeg all of her life. In compliance with Verna's wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. The family will however, hold a celebration of her life on Sunday, January 10, 2010. Please contact the family members for details or email Lori at lorijl2002@yahoo.ca
