Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGRANT EDWARD MATTHEWS Grant Edward Matthews - 59, of Kentville, Nova Scotia, formerly of Winnipeg, Manitoba died peacefully on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. He was predeceased by his mom, Jennie Matthews (Dolan) and his wife, Joan (Wood) and several other special (two and four-legged) friends and family members. He is survived by his dog Willie, his sister and two brothers, his children, his grandchildren, his nieces and nephews, and his good friends. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, and by his request, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations in his memory may be made to the Humane Society. Those who know him love and miss him, but know his pain has ended now that he has been reunited with the love of his life. His message to us is, be here now , keep it simple , and finally, if it wasn't already said, it wasn't worth saying .
