ALLAN G. HAMILTON February 2, 1929 - January 22, 2010 I, Brian the son of Allan and Thelma announce the peaceful passing of my father Allan Hamilton on January 22, 2010 at 5:15 a.m. at the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 80 years. Allan was predeceased by his wife Thelma of 55 years, also his sister Bernice Thompson and grandson Jonathan. Father is survived by his loving son Brian, sister-in-law Rhea Mcarthy, two brothers-in-law Don Rawson, Frank Thompson, nephew Walter Thompson as well as cousins Richard (Linda) Hamilton, Shirley Russel, granddaughter Michelle Borys-Hamilton and numerous nieces and nephews. Father was employed by the City of Winnipeg Transit and retired in 1990 as a transit supervisor. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church 930 Winakwa Road at (Autumnwood Drive) pastor Stacy Moroz officiating. Brian would like to thank all the doctors especially Dr. Tony Battad, all the nursing staff on 4 South at the Victoria General Hospital, Well done.
