VITTORIO FORLINI March 10, 1933 - January 31, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather on January 31, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Vittorio was predeceased by his parents Virginia and Lamberto Forlini and his sister Dina Carloni. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Maria, his two daughters Louisa (Wes) and Laura (Kirk), and two grandchildren Madison and Peyton, his three sisters Caterina Grestoni (Gino), Irene Lenci (Pietro) and Palmira Morigi (Pietro), as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Vittorio was born in Genga, Ancona, Italy and was married to Maria in 1968. In 1969 Vittorio and Maria came to Winnipeg to start their new life together and raise their two daughters Laura and Louisa. He was proud to accomplish the life that he had hoped for in Canada. Vittorio was a kind hearted, religious, hardworking, dedicated husband and father and will be missed immensely. Many thanks to the nurses and doctors at St. Boniface Emergency for their kind words and compassion during this difficult time. Ti amiamo molto Babbo e ti ricorderemo sempre nei nostri cuori. Prayers will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2010 at Holy Rosary Church, 510 River Avenue. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 with Father Sam Argenziano presiding. Private family urn placement will be held in Holy Angel Mausoleum.
