MARJORIE ELIZABETH STEVENSON July 23, 1909 - February 5, 2010 Having achieved her 100 year milestone this past summer, Marjorie passed away peacefully at Windermere Care Centre, Vancouver, following a brief illness. She was predeceased by brothers Jack, Harry and Douglas (Second World War). She leaves numerous nieces, nephews, cousins as well as extended family and friends. She was particularly fortunate to have had the care and companionship of Stephanie Counsell and Stella Ting in her later years. Following her graduation from the University of Manitoba, Marjorie had a long and enjoyable career in Winnipeg. She spent most of her retirement years in Vancouver and managed to live independently until the age of 96. We would like to thank the staff at Windermere Care Centre for their professional care and compassion during Marjorie's years there. A memorial service will be held at St. John's Anglican Church, Shaughnessy, Vancouver, on March 2, 2010. Donations may be made to the church in Marjorie's name.
