ANNE PALUK (nee RICHKUN) April 9, 1923 - February 19, 2010 Peacefully surrounded by her family Anne Paluk, formerly of Teulon, MB, passed away at St. Joseph Personal Care Home where she resided for the past five years. Anne was predeceased by her husband Joe who passed away February 19, 1978, grandson in 1973 and parents Alex and Lena Richkun. Left to mourn are two daughters Fern (Werner) and Gloria (Edwin); four grand-children Rick (Dawn), Stacey (Ron), Michele, Trevor (Lindsey); step grandchildren Kane, Laurie, Geoffrey, three great-grandchildren Alycia (Rory), Dustin, Maryna; one great-great-granddaughter Violet; sister Mary of British Columbia; brothers Bill of British Columbia, Nestor (Carol) of Saskatoon, SK and Allan (Kathy) of Stonewall, MB. Mom married Dad in 1939 and resided on a farm in the Light School District until moving to Teulon in 1980. She worked at the Teulon Hospital for over 20 years and retired in 1988. Mom enjoyed gardening especially her flowers and going out for drives. The family would like to thank St. Joseph's Personal Care Home for their compassionate care and support during Mom's stay. Prayer service will be held on Monday, February 22 at 7:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Teulon. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 23 at 10:00 a.m. at the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, Komarno. Interment to follow at the Holy Trinity Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, memorial donations maybe made to the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Komarno. Rest in Peace MacKenzie Funeral Home, Teulon in care of arrangements.
