Date of Passing: Feb 25, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVINCENT STEVENSON It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Vincent Stevenson at the age of 43 years, peacefully at home on Thursday, February 25, 2010. Vincent was a kind, gentle man who enjoyed making connections and developing relationships with other people. He had a mischievous sense of humor and his friends will remember him as the guy at the back of the group looking for an opportunity to stir up just a bit of trouble. We'll remember how much he enjoyed the outdoors, his love of animals and how much he enjoyed basketball. In his lifetime, Vincent faced many obstacles. He met and overcame these challenges with his tenacity of spirit and love of life that were an inspiration to those privileged to know him. Vincent's journey was supported by his foster family Kathy and Hamid Shahinfar, and several organizations including; East Side Thames, Com-Span Inc., St. Amant, and New Directions. Vincent will be missed by a large circle of friends and caregivers who came to know and love him. When love has touched our lives, it remains forever in our hearts Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, at St. Amant, 440 River Road at 7:00 p.m. Viewing will precede the service from 6:00-6:45 p.m. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
