Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryTATIANA (BABA) KRAWCHUK (nee PALAMARCHUK) January 25, 1926 March 12, 2010 Our mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother (BIG BABA) passed peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord on a beautiful afternoon on Friday, March 12, 2010. She has left us with an ache in our hearts, but with a vault full of precious memories that will be forever cherished. Baba is now enjoying the company of her late husband Carl, her mother, father and brothers. She leaves to mourn her daughter and son-in-law, Maria (Rick) Epp; grandchildren, Tanya (Corey), Luke (Kristen), Taras and great-grandchild Ember who was the center of Baba's universe. She also leaves to mourn her extended family in the U.S., Andrey, Victoria, Daniel, Timothy, Matthew and baby Eliya Palamarchuk; in the Netherlands, Oksana Palamarchuk and Will and baby Igor Van Corput; in Ukraine, Luba Palamarchuk, Baba Shura and her pen pal Rev M. Ihor Kruchenyk. Tatiana was born in Vinnytsia oblast, Ukraine. She immigrated to Canada as a young mother and settled in Winnipeg. When her husband Carl died, she moved into Selkirk to be with her family and resided in the Lion's Centennial Centre until failing health initiated a move into her daughter's home where she stayed until illness forced her into the hospital where she was granted her wish of a peaceful passing. A memorial service to celebrate Baba's life will be held 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 18 at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Winnipeg with Pastor Brad Elliott officiating. Donations in her memory may be made to the Christ Church (Anglican) Building Fund, 227 McLean Ave., Selkirk, MB R1A 0T7.
