JOSE EVARISTO José Evaristo passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 after a courageous, but short battle with cancer. He leaves to mourn his wife of 67 years, Maria and three sons, Marcelino (Candida), Manuel (Armenia), José (Mariana), several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. José was predeceased by his son Antonio in 1974. Prayers will be held at Mosaic Funeral Chapel on Thursday, March 18 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held at St. Peters Parish, 748 Keewatin St. on Friday, March 19 at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare MB Foundation, 675 McDermot Ave., Room 1160, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9. The family would like to thank the staff on the 5th Floor Unit 4 at the Seven Oaks Hospital for the care, compassion and professionalism demonstrated to both our father and to the entire family.
