YVONNE RIGAUX Peacefully, Yvonne (Lombaert) Rigaux passed away on March 16, 2010 in the Victoria General Hospital at the age of 92. Yvonne was born on July 6, 1917 in St. Alphonse, MB and in 1937 she married Remi Rigaux. Yvonne and Remi began their life together farming in Mariapolis, MB where they had their one and only child, Elsie. In 1948, they moved the family to Winnipeg where Yvonne continued to happily enjoy her home and family. Yvonne is survived by her daughter Elsie Mauws (Larry), granddaughter Susan Clubine (Dave), great-grandson Christopher; grandson Michael Mauws (Kelly), great-grandson Gibson Remi and great-granddaughter Meredith. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Judy Lombaert (Marcel), sister-in-law Julliette Rigaux (Lucien), brother-in-law Maurice Rigaux, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Remi on January 13, 2010, her parents Desire and Judith Lombaert and brother Marcel Lombaert. A Memorial Service will be held 9:30 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
