Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryEARLE EDWIN KEEBLE October 4, 1927 - March 8, 2010 Peacefully, at the Golden Door Personal Care Home, at the age of 82. Earle will be sadly missed by June, his wife of 59 years and sons, Bill and Jim. Earle was born and raised in Winnipeg. He worked as a carman with C.N.R. at the shops in Transcona for 42 years. He was a volunteer First Aider for St. John Ambulance and was also an active member on the First Aid team at C.N.R. where he enjoyed participating in annual competitions. Earle was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years and also a member of the St. Vital Historical Society. He provided opportunity and support to his sons by volunteering as a hockey coach with Winakwa Community Club, a scout leader at St. Bartholomews Church, and becoming a member of the Laverendre Game and Fish Junior Rifle Club. Earle was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping in the mountains in British Columbia, and later shared his love of the outdoors with his family, camping throughout Manitoba and Ontario. In his retirement years, Earle took up golf, spending many afternoons at the Windsor Park Golf Course, where he scored a Hole In One on the ninth hole. Dad's company will be greatly missed.
