DARCY DWAYNE WEAVER July 28, 1976 - March 18, 2010 It is with heartfelt sorrow and everlasting love that the family announces the passing of Darcy on Thursday, March 18, 2010. Darcy fought a courageous battle with cancer, never giving up, he fought to the end. Darcy leaves to mourn in his passing, his father Albert (Claudette), his mother Lynn Recunyk, brothers Tyler (Danielle), Justin, sister Samantha, grandfather James Weaver, nephews Jonathan and Jamie, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Darcy was predeceased by his Baba Olga, grandfather Paul, his aunts Janie Weaver and Diane Recunyk, uncles Leonard and Clifford Recunyk and his cousin Kim Sprong. Darcy enjoyed spending time with his friends, going motorcycling, dirt biking, snowmobiling and was always the proud owner of a 4x4 to go off roading. His friends meant everything to him. A sincere thanks to Scott and Christa, Ron, Kim, and Danika and A.J. for their continued support during the past months, also many thanks to Dr. Maksymiuk of CancerCare Manitoba and all the caring doctors and nurses on the palliative care unit at St. Boniface Hospital. In accordance with Darcy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Flowers are gratefully declined, but those who would like to make a donation in Darcy's honour should do so to CancerCare Manitoba at (204) 787-4143 care of pancreatic cancer. In tears we saw you sinking, We watched you fade away you suffered much in silence you fought so hard to stay. You faced your task with courage, your spirit did not bend, but still you kept on fighting until the very end. God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be, so He put his arms around you and whispered come to me. So when we saw you sleeping so peacefully free from pain we could not wish you back, to suffer that again. You didn't deserve what you went through so He took you home to rest, God's garden must be beautiful for He only takes the best! 586-8044

Our friendship carried on into our adulthood till I moved out of Winnipeg. Please accept my condolences.
