DORIS LEACH (KIPLING) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Doris Leach (Kipling) on March 19, 2010. Doris was born October 3, 1927 in Selkirk, MB where she resided for her entire lifetime. Being a daughter of a captain, she had a great love of the water. She looked forward to the ice break-up on the Red River yearly. She truly enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, and always looked forward to outings with them. She is survived by daughters Yvonne and Joyce of British Columbia; sons, Charles (Rose), Jonathon (Wendy) of Selkirk, granddaughter Brandie (Devon) of Selkirk; sons, William (Donna), Robert (Connie) of Winnipeg, and daughter Fern (Don) of Ontario, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father William and mother Harriet Flett, and partner Anthony Leach, daughters Susanne and Verna Leach. Funeral will take place Thursday, March 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk with viewing one hour prior to service. Cremation to follow. Honorary pallbearers are Baron and Damien Leach, Chris and Jamie Pittman, Jake and Dan Zachary and Darren Leach. Do not cry for me, I do not want to walk to Heaven in the rain.
