MARISA NOEL SOLTA
Born: Dec 07, 1992
Date of Passing: Mar 23, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARISA NOEL SOLTA December 7, 1992 - March 23, 2010 Surrounded by love, Marisa Noel left us on Tuesday, March 23, 20l0. She will be deeply missed by mom Teresa; siblings Elissa (Ian), Joel (Jess), and Krysta as well as her loved pets, Kato, Otis, Suki and Rosco. She also leaves behind her Grandpa Larry Michalski (late Margaret) as well as her father Wayne Solta, many family and friends. Despite battling cancer for over nine years, Marisa led an incredible life, accomplishing the impossible and leaving a huge impact on those she met. Her zest for life, tenacity and compassion for others touched the hearts of countless people in Winnipeg and beyond. She saw her cancer as an opportunity to help other children and became very involved locally with the Children's Hospital Foundation, the Radiothon, Variety, and nationally with the Coast to Coast Against Cancer. Marisa was a Master Angler, loved cake decorating and many crafts. Her creativity spilled into music and stories which entertained and charmed us all. She was a friend, an advocate, an inspiration and a role model. But most importantly she was Marisa, whose quick wit and charming smile drew people to her where ever she went. We would like to thank the many people who have meant so much to us, more than words can ever say. We thank CancerCare Manitoba, especially Drs. Cham, Schroeder and Cathy Bourne - you never gave up on her; Pediatric Palliative Care team especially Drs. Harlos, Lambert and Simone - you gave her the quality that her life deserved, and CK5 Staff for making her feel at home. In lieu of flowers, we ask that donations be made in Marisa's name to the charities close to her heart - Variety or the Children's Hospital Foundation. Celebration of Marisa's life will be held on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
