Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNORMAN GLEN SCHULTZ 1950 - 2010 It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Norman Glen Schultz on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the age of 59 years. Dad will be remembered for always putting others before himself and his willingness to do anything to help someone else out. He was a caring and proud father who was someone that his children could depend on. He was always so full of praise and encouragement, something I will cherish and remember with admiration. I feel so privileged to have shared so many special father/daughter moments with him. Remembered too are the special moments shared with my Dad and brother while fishing, hunting, and quadding up the line to camp. Dad's willingness to show unconditional love and acceptance will also be lovingly remembered by his son in-law Kevin. Spending time with family was very important to him, which included visiting his Dad and his Godmother Auntie Elsie on weekends. Dad was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of the country life. Memories of the many fishing and hunting trips in the Whiteshell Provincial Park will be forever treasured by family and friends. Family BBQs were one of Dad's most favourite things to do where he took great delight in sharing his amazing cooking talents with others. Dad was always cooking something up for others to enjoy. Those who were fortunate enough got to sample some of the best homemade cooking ever like his delicious borscht, his awesome headcheese and his sweet and sour meat balls! Dad also found great pleasure in spending an entire day smoking goldeye or sausage to simply give it all away to his family and friends. This spoke to his generous and giving spirit. Over the last 11 years while working for The Department of Highways, Dad took great pride in everything he did and did it to the best of his ability. He was an exceptionally hardworking individual with a work ethic that any employer would admire. Glen will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Glenda (Kevin Casper), his father Albert Schultz, brothers Rick (Lois), John (Faye), George (Adelene) and sister Dinah (Paul). He was predeceased by his son Norman, his mother Evelyn and his brother Randy. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends too numerous to mention. In accordance with Glen's wishes no formal funeral service will be held. Please join the family for a Gathering in remembrance of Glen on April 1 at 12:00 p.m. at the Whitemouth Community Center. Lunch will be served. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Trans Canada Trail. We are planning to put a bench up in his and his son's honor in the park they loved so much. Donations can be made to North Whiteshell Trans Canada Trail, care of Box 138, Seven Sisters Falls, R0E 1Y0 As we loved you, so we miss you; In our memory you are near; Loved, remembered, longed for always; Bringing many a silent tear.
