AURISE MARIE ROSE CROZIER 1913 - 2010 Predeceased by her husband Robert (Bob) Crozier, parents, Henri and Marianna (Blanche Lapointe) Theroux, brother Eddie Theroux, sister Lucille Coumount, and her only child, Elizabeth Anna (Betty) Ingaldson. She is survived by her loving family; son-in-law Ingi Ingaldson, grandchildren Kari and Kristjan Ingaldson, nieces Jane Ewert, Ruth Thrush, Mary Stark and brother-in-law Jack Crozier. Aurise was born in Otterburne. She moved to Transcona as a child, and lived in Fort Rouge after her marriage to Bob Crozier. She retired as a nurses' aide from St. Boniface General Hospital in 1979. She enjoyed many years and made many friends as a member of the Sweet Adeline's. Aurise had a very active retirement. She joined the Golden Rule Seniors Club at the Fort Rouge Leisure Centre and was a very active member. She loved music and was one of the original members of the Golden Rule Glee Club. In the mid 1980s, she was instrumental in forming a band, the Naturals, which is still active today. She had many great times hosting the band and the glee club at her cabin in Winnipeg Beach. She was a very strong willed, loving, independent lady who lived in her home until the end. She still drove at 94 and continued to sing. She loved any outing, especially suppers with the family and trips to her cabin. She had many great friends, some who have passed on: Bertha Munday, Vie Shultz, Hazel Snyder and Leila Littlewood to name a few. Others such as Lorraine Purchase, Gail Carruthers, Caroline Belton, Mary Nadurak Myrtle Hall and Kay Tanchuk will all surely miss her phone calls. She didn't want any fuss, so a family interment will occur at a later date. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200
