HELEN PERROUD (nee DECHIEF) October 12, 1911 - March 28, 2010 Peacefully at St. Claude Health Centre on Sunday, March 28, 2010, Mrs. Helen Perroud of St. Claude, Manitoba passed away at the age of 98 years with her family by her side. She leaves to mourn her passing, her daughters, Doreen (Normand) Labossiere and Doris (Roland) Asselin; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; brother-in-law Charles Perroud; sisters-in-law: Doris Dechief and Yvonne Dechief; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband Albert and daughter Marlene in 1998; her parents, Joseph and Elvire Dechief; sister Dora and husband Frank Morrison; brothers: Leon and Paul Dechief; and by sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. At mom's request, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held in the St. Claude Roman Catholic Church on Monday, April 5, 2010. Eulogy and video tribute at 1:30 p.m., Funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. followed by Interment in the St. Claude Parish Cemetery with Father Marcel Carrière officiating. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the St. Claude Health Centre (TCU) and to the Home Care Workers for their care and compassion over the last many years.
