Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGEORGINA DOHERTY (nee GESSNER) Peacefully on Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Grace Hospital, Georgina passed away with her family by her side at the age of 77. Survived by her loving husband Ray; children, Wayne (Jen), Brent (Carmelle), Jeff (Sherri); grandchildren, Caitlin and Ethan; brothers, Bill (Barbara) and Willard. Georgina worked at Manitoba Hydro before marrying Ray in 1957. Georgina dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed her volunteer work at St. Chad's Anglican Church and Heritage Lodge. She loved and studied music in her younger years. Georgina and Ray enjoyed many summers camping at Birds Hill and Miller's Campground. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Chad's Anglican Church, 3390 Portage Avenue, with reception and interment to follow. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
