MARGARET ETHEL RUDD (nee PARACHOWSKI) 1934 - 2010 On Saturday, April 3, 2010 at Boundary Trails Health Centre Margaret Rudd, aged 76 years of Manitou, MB went to her eternal rest. Marg was employed for 28 years with Canada Packers in Manitou and retired as the General Manager. Marg and Ray's retirement was spent enjoying being Winter Texans in Magic Valley. Marg made herself known on the shuffle court progressing to the level of an Expert and represented Canada in World Championships taking her to Australia, Japan, New Zealand and California. Her passion for sports also included baseball, curling and golfing where you would see her teaching her grandchildren the techniques to the sports. Her love of cooking and gardening was shared by many along with numerous games of crib throughout the day. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters, Wendy and Gerry Van Mackelbergh of Medora, Karen and Bob Chambers of Boissevain; four sons, Marshall and Joan Rudd of Nipigon, ON, Wayne and Linda Rudd of Pine Falls, Don and Eleanor Rudd of Winnipeg and Steve and Laurie Sinclair of Winnipeg; 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren as well as one sister, Theresa and Art Friesen and two brothers, Percy Parachowski and Mark and Noelle Parachowski. She was predeceased by her husband, Ray Rudd in 2009 and one son, Trent Sinclair in 2001. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's United Church in Manitou with a family ash interment prior to the service at Manitou Cemetery. The family would like to thank the many friends and family who cared for Marg during her illness especially Tammy, Yvette, Linda, Dr. Bruneau and Dr. Brandes.
