CANDIDA LEGASPI ALMARIO August 15, 1923- April 4, 2010 Peacefully on April 4, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at home, Candida (Canding) passed away at 86 years old. She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her children: Dante Almario (Elsa Exconde), Nenita (Shan Mahmood), Nestor Almario (Tess Morong), Ellen (Aurelio Cidro), Beth (Amante Tasico), Cora (Benny Castres). Also by all her grandchildren: Roderick (Emilie Carin ), Randy and Rodel Almario, Jenny and Stephanie Mahmood, Neilmar, Nealon, Norly, Noriel, Nathaniel Almario, Ariel, Airell, Arlene Cidro, Christopher, Jonathan Tasico, Corbin, Benjo, Courtney Castres; all her great-grandchildren: Reynold, Romiel, Noah, Aiden and Ella Almario. She was predeceased by her husband Eliseo Almario and by her sons Renato and Guillermo. Candida was born in Aliaga, Nueva Ecija, Philippines. She came to Canada in September 1979 and actively was involved with the senior association (OFSAM). She was a kind, loving and caring person that would give everything she had to help anybody in need. A Lamay/Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 8 and Friday April 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 10 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Edwards Roman Catholic Church, 836 Arlington St. Officiating priest Fr. Rainerio Sarce. Interment to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
