KALMAN (CHARLIE) KERTESZ November 24, 1935 - April 7, 2010 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Charlie Kertesz on April 7, 2010, with his family by his side at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 74. Charlie was predeceased by his parents Margit and Erno, brothers Gyula, Laszlo and sister Maria. Left to cherish Charlie's memory are his loving wife of 38 years, Maria, daughter Marian (Les), grandson Martin, brothers and sisters-in-law Gus (Pet) Manuel, Joe (Susie) Santos and Ilona Kertesz, nephew Marco Carino and family, Linda Gallardo and family, Tina Bernal and family, Leona (Bennie), Elizabeth (Randy), brothers Dezso, Miklos (Julianna). Prayers will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the Wheeler Funeral Chapel, 211 Regent Avenue West, funeral service will follow on Tuesday April 13 at 1:00 p.m. also at the Wheeler Funeral Chapel. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Health Sciences Centre Respiratory Rehabilitation Centre especially nurse Flo.
