Date of Passing: Apr 07, 2010
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRICHARD (PETER) STANLEY BRONEY Peacefully, on April 7, 2010 Richard passed away with his family at his side at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 61. He was predeceased by his brother Jack in 1998, father Tony in 1975 and his mother Sadie in 1998. He is survived by his children Casey, Sheri and six grandchildren; sisters Paulette, Leanne (Ken), Karin (Terry), Rose (Ron) and Shirley (Alvin); brothers John, Jim (Brenda) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Richard was raised in the Onanole and Sandy Lake area. His lifelong passion was driving and this showed through when he left home at an early age and came to Winnipeg to drive taxi. This was followed by many years of driving tow-truck and semi. Life's road took Richard to Calgary where he was married and his twins were born. Richard then returned to Winnipeg where he continued driving tow-truck until his health no longer allowed him to continue. In the last few years Richard would go to Sandy Lake with his brother Jim where they would camp and fish. His goal was to eventually live there. Richard, we all hope that you are at peace, we will miss you. (Tkeh, tkeh... it is what it is) Memorial service will be held Friday, May 14, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
