WILLIAM MCKAY It is with deepest sorrow and regret that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, father and friend, William Edward McKay. Bill left us Wednesday, April 7 at 12:12 p.m. after a battle with cancer that he fought with a courageous heart. He was born March 21, 1945 in Toronto, Ontario. Bill is greatly loved and missed by his twin Alex and younger brothers, Cam and Jeffrey. The boys have been through so much together and feel like they lost a part of themselves the day their brother passed away. Bill is profoundly missed and loved by his daughter Colleen. Her eyes shine a little less bright now that her daddy's gone. Bill sadly also leaves behind his other children: Leanne, Billy, Coleen, Shari, Robert and Jeanine. Bill loved all his family but found particular joy in his adorable family of cats: Little Bear, Hope, Mooch, Salem, Boots, Metamorphis, Trinity, Meeko, Megan, Boo Boo, Tiki, Stray Cat and Rusty. They miss him too. Bill is predeceased by his mother Elizabeth and his father William. The family would like to thank Dr. A.J. Mihalchuk for her compassion and support. Thank you also to Sheila. A service celebrating Bill's life will be held Monday, April 12 in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winnipeg Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Bill, we hold you close within our hearts and there you will remain, to walk with us throughout our lives. Much Love and Peace. Your family.
