GABRIELLE T. DUGAS (nee TRUDEAU) 1921 - 2010 It is with heavy hearts, that we announce the passing of Gabrielle Dugas on April 9, 2010, with her family by her side at Foyer Valade, at the age of 88. Gabrielle will be lovingly remembered by her soulmate and best friend of 63 years, Hector, daughters Louise, Cécile (Denis) and Gisèle (Roger), sons Gilles and Alain (Michèle), grandchildren Darren (Joanne), Darcy (Kirstyn), Rachelle (Joël), Paul (Tenille), Jodie and Jeanette, great-grandchildren Jade, Braeden, Ella, Amélie and Luka, brothers Fernand (Rita), Arthur (Laurette) and sister Soeur Simone; also survived by sisters-in-law Hélèna, Jeanne, Thérèse and Anna and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Laurette, brothers Augustin, Gregoire, Simon and sister Soeur Cécile. Special thanks to the South East Home Care workers for their devotion and care to Mom in the last ten years. Very special thanks also to the exceptional staff at Foyer Valade. Prayers will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 15 at Notre Dame de la Misericorde Church in Ile des Chênes. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gabrielle's memory to Foyer Valade, 450 River Road, Winnipeg, MB, R2M 5M4.
