Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCOLLEEN DOBSON (nee MacLean) February 6, 1952 April 10, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, wife and friend. Colleen will be missed by her husband Ron, her daughter Tanya and her son Brian as well as her immediate and extended family and friends. Colleen took great pride in being a wonderful mother and wife. Her family meant the world to her and she was always, and continues to be an inspiration to all. Her children will greatly miss her guidance and endless compassion. To them, Colleen was everything. Her witty and caring personality holds a spot in the hearts of the peoples' lives she touched. To know Colleen was to love her, as her charm and kindness would fill the room. She was a graceful peacemaker and was always ready and willing to reach out to those in need. Colleen has shaped the lives of many with her constant love and support. We are grateful to the caretakers, family and friends that have helped, comforted and stood by her in her battle with cancer. Just as Colleen did for us, we embrace her in our hearts and will remember her always. It was a true honour and privilege to know and love her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Chapel Lawn 885-9715

I met MacLen in school...grade 4 in Headingley....we learned and played and lived life to the fullest......our paths grew apart but yet one of my brothers ,her dear friend James also kept in contact, one day at the Headley Husky they met up and Colleen asked about me... James gave me her number in Wpg.I was living in NW Ontario,once I found her again we always stayed in touch,she was the one to come to hospital when I was going through some health issues and we always got together when ever I was in WPG...I think about so often Mac Lean...I was working and living in Revelstoke when you passed....I will NEVER forget you.......
