CATHARINE MARY (KAY) NUTTALL (nee MacDougall) Passed away unexpectedly, yet peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, ON on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the age of 85 years. Kay was the beloved wife of Hugh Nuttall with whom she celebrated 60 wonderful years and the cherished mother of Robert Nuttall of Rochester, NY, Leslie Grosser (Adam) of Ft. Collins, CO, and Beverly Nuttall of Guelph, ON. She was the proud grandmother of Kristina and Andrew Grosser and Bodan Nuttall-Licht. Kay was the dear sister of Margaret Langford of Niagara Falls, ON and Anne Penston (William) of Moncton, NB. Kay is also survived by her brother-in-law, Hugh Popham of Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her sister, Helen Popham and brother Donald McDougall. Kay was very social. She loved duplicate bridge and had a fondness for nature. She and Hugh shared many happy times as long-time members of the Mr. and Mrs. Club at Trinity United Church. Her passion in life was her family and the highlight of her year was the annual family reunion at Evergreen Lodge. A celebration of Catharine's life will be held on Friday, April 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. West, Kitchener. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until service time. A reception will follow at the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
