ALMA SANTE It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Alma Sante, on April 12, 2010 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Alma was born in Truro, Nova Scotia in 1923 and came to Winnipeg as a bride in 1946. She had a passion for sewing and was employed at the Singer Company for several years. Alma loved and taught sewing, and her talent also showed in the many beautiful items that she created for the home, family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Percy and Martha Crowell; four brothers: Edwin, Ernest, Morris and William; three sisters: Olive, Myrtle and Leona; half brother Sydney; and half sister Jean. She leaves to mourn her loving husband of 63 years, George; son Les (Donna) of Winnipeg; daughter Cheryl (John) of Bissett; and four grandchildren: Terri of Winnipeg and Scott, Laura, and Trevor of Bissett. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, Alma will be sincerely missed, but the memories that we all shared will live on in our hearts forever. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In The Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd. THOMSON IN THE PARK 925-1120
