Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRY MYER SIMMONDS July 13, 1954 - April 19, 2010 It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Barry Simmonds on Monday, April 19, 2010 at 55 years of age. Barry was predeceased by his parents Gerald and Lily Simmonds. He will be lovingly missed and remembered by: brothers Harold, Leonard, Fred (Tauba), Paul (Gail) and Irv (Terry); sisters Brenda (Abe) and Elisa (Jeff); nieces Reesa, Rannah and Corene; and nephews Darian and Stuart. Barry enjoyed his 23 years at the Hydra House/St. Amant Hudson Home and will be missed by staff and the other residents. Barry was a gentle, kind hearted man who led a simple life. He participated in programming at the Hope Centre and touched many people with his warm greetings and great smile. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chesed Shel Emes Chapel, 1023 Main Street, Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
