Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBESSIE EVELYN OLIVER January 13, 1918 - April 19, 2010 Born on the farm at Carberry, MB to Gertrude and George Oliver, the second youngest of seven children, she is survived by her sister Mary Perrett of Neepawa. Trained as a R.N., she served in the Royal Canadian Navy, then worked in the United States and Canada. She finished her career with 25 years of service at the Manitoba Health Services Commission and retired to Carberry. A patron of the theatre and symphony, a lover of nature and an avid gardener. She traveled the world and lived life on her own terms. Beloved aunt to: Irene, Sheila and Ian Sue, Bill and Linda Ed, Leah and Gary George, Neil and Allan Dianne, Ralph and Donna. Funeral service Saturday, April 24 at 11:00 a.m., Knox Zion Presbyterian Church, Carberry.
