Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRITA M. DESAUTELS (SIMARD) 1923 2010 Surrounded by family, Rita passed away peacefully on April 23, 2010. She will be lovingly remembered by Albert, her husband of 58 years; her children Germaine (James), Raymond (Jin), Leo (Kathy), and Patricia; her brother Henry (Jacqueline): her grandchildren Nicole, Trevor, Danielle and Alyssa and many nieces and nephews. Rita enjoyed time spent with family, friends, and especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted housewife who enjoyed crafts and gardening. Her spirit of adventure took her on many journeys both at home and abroad. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 29, 2:00 p.m. at Thomson In the Park Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. The family would like to thank the Tache Centre staff for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, family and friends wishing to honour her memory may make a donation to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or a charity of their choice.
