IRENE COLLIOU (nee MOQUIN) May 10, 1932 April 26, 2010 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Irene at the St. Boniface Hospital surrounded by her family. She was predeceased by her husband Jean in 1988. Irene is survived by her daughter Gisele (Marcel), son Ray (Lynn) and son Ron (Joanne); her grandsons Michael, David, Patrick, Roger and Remy. She is also survived by her brother Armand Moquin of Winnipeg and Florent Moquin of Grunthal. Mom worked in the ACF unit at the St. Boniface Hospital for 25 years. After retiring, she continued her love to help by volunteering at the St. Boniface Hospital in various capacities. Mom loved to spend her free time at the family cottage in St. Laurent with her family and friends. Mom was born in St. Joseph, MB and was married to Jean for 34 years. Prayers will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2 at Desjardins Funeral Chapel, 357 Des Meurons Street. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 3 at the St. Laurent Roman Catholic Church.
