RITA SARA ADA GRINI (nee POTTER) 1919 - 2010 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Rita Grini on April 23, 2010 at the age of 90. She is survived by her loving daughter Corolie (Brian), granddaughters Cheri (Bruce), Lori and great-granddaughters Brooke-Lynn, Julia and Paige. She is also survived by her brother Basil, as well as many nieces and nephews. She loved travelling, entertaining and shopping with her daughter, especially for miniatures. She was very active throughout her years from gymnastics, skiing and dancing to roller skating, also an excellent seamstress always the perfectionist. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed greatly. In keeping with Mom's wishes a private family ceremony was held on April 28, 2010 at the St. Vital Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Winnipeg Humane Society. A special thank you to the 6th Floor Staff of the Misericordia Health Centre and to Bardal Funeral Home. A Mother's Love A Mother's love is something that no one can explain, It is made of deep devotion and of sacrifice and pain, It is endless and unselfish and enduring come what may For nothing can destroy it or take that love away ... It is patient and forgiving when all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters even though the heart is breaking . . . It believes beyond believing when the world around condemns, And it glows with all the beauty of the rarest, brightest gems . . . It is far beyond defining, It defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret like the mysteries of creation . . . A many splendored miracle man cannot understand And another wondrous evidence of God's tender guiding hand. 843 Sherbrook Street, 774-7474 Condolences: www.bardal.ca
