BEVERLY JEAN SCHILLE 1935 - 2010 Peacefully on Sunday, April 25, 2010, Bev died at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 74 years. Her passing is a heartbreak for Charlie, her best friend and loving husband of 54 years; children Lynn (Guy), Pam, Dale (Diane); grandchildren Courtney (Roland), Brittany (Krisjan), Rebecca, Keith, Kyle, Ashley (Patrick), Ryan; great-grandchildren Griffin, Fenris, Maija, Reyna and Noelle. Bev was a gifted primary teacher. In her retirement years she was a tireless presence in the lives of her children and grandchildren. During the last three years she lived valiantly with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. She faced her illness with characteristic grace, faith and optimism. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Saturday, May 1 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 255 Stafford Street at Corydon Avenue, with Rev. Fr. Sam Argenziano, presiding. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Lawrence Homik; Debbie Homik; the WRHA palliative home care nurses; the staff of Sturgeon Creek and the palliative care unit at Riverview Health Centre. Donations in memory of Beverly may be made to the Palliative Care Unit in Riverview Health Center, 1 Morley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3L 2P4.
