STEVE BURMEY With deep sadness we announce the passing of Steve Burmey at age 80 on April 27, 2010 after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve is survived by his wife Olga, sons Darren and (Annie), Darryl and (Jody), and five grandchildren, sister Kaye Hunt of Grand Forks, BC and brother George in Hawaii. Steve's passion in life was carpentry, golfing, and his grandchildren. According to his wishes, cremation has occurred and a memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, May 3, 2010 at Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk.
