REYNALDO Z. CABALU With great regret, we announce the passing of Reynaldo Z. Cabalu, also known as Rey to all who knew him personally. He passed away to his heavenly home at the age of 70 on April 28, 2010 at the Health Sciences Centre due to health ailments at 11:45 p.m. Rey was a devoted husband, loving father, generous lolo, caring uncle and good friend to all. Rey will be missed by all his relatives, especially his family, Reynaldo Jr., Josephine, Antonio, Nenita and Rolando; grandchildren, Rheymar, Rheo, Rhylan, Rico, Kristin, Jeremy, Anthony, TJ, Emily, Myles and Brosnan; nieces, Melanie, Christin, Courtney and numerous nephews. Rey has family all over the world; including Canada, the United States and all the way to the Philippines. Reynaldo was born in Tarlac City of the Philippines, March 20, 1943. He graduated with a degree from the University of the Philippines in Mechanical Engineering. Reynaldo was married to Lourdes Gomez for 45 memorable / loving years. Viewing will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010 and Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 7, 2010 at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 515 College Ave. Interment will follow in Kildonan Presbyterian Cemetery, 2373 Main St. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the nurses, doctors, and staff at the Health Sciences Centre who made his stay comfortable. His suffering has passed, now he's at peace with our father in heaven. We will truly miss you but we know you want us to go on living happily.
