MARION DIANNE NAST (nee EMMS) It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our loving and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother on April 29, 2010. Marion will be sadly missed by her mother Jessie, her sons Ken (Cheryl), Darryl (Kim); grandchildren Darnell (Josiane), Darcy (Kayla), Jessica, Brandon, Dustin, Alysia, Tiffany and great-grandson Keegan as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Marion was predeceased by her father David Jones and youngest son David Albert. Marion was born on July 23, 1945 in Winnipeg, MB. She lived in Oak Point, MB where she raised her children. In the mid 1980s she moved to Winnipeg. She was employed at Canada West Boots for approximately 20 years and was soon to retire. Marion enjoyed life and loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always on the go and could never sit still. She enjoyed watching her grandson Brandon play the fiddle and perform. She was so proud when he became a member of the Gaudry Boys Band. She was also very proud to be a great-grandma to her little miracle and could hardly wait for more. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Point, MB at the hall. A private family interment will be held at a later date. Melanie Kauppila will officiate. MacKenzie Funeral Home, Stonewall in care of arrangements.
