Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELEANOR (BETTY) SMITH October 5, 1937 - May 2, 2010 Sadly, on Sunday, May 2, 2010, Betty passed away peacefully at Health Sciences Centre. Betty leaves to mourn her husband Jim; daughters Heather (Ron), Lesley and grand-children Erika, Carly, Sheridan and Carter. Betty will be remembered by her sisters Vi Aab and Martha Schaefer; brother Edward (Shirley) Aab; nieces, nephews and many friends. Betty was predeceased by her son Dean and brother Clarence. The family wishes to thank the staff at Health Sciences Centre for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's memory may be made to the Heart Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, Suite 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB, R3L 0K6. Cremation has taken place. A memorial to celebrate Betty's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Chapel Lawn 885-9715
