Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCLIFFORD KELLN It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Clifford Kelln our beloved Dad, Grandpa and friend on May 3, 2010 at Concordia Hospital at the age of 73. Cliff will be deeply missed by his two daughters, Cindy (Ken) McPetrie, Wendy (Richard) Pater; and four grandchildren, Brett, Dennis (Sam), Jason and Jennifer. Cliff was predeceased by his wife and best friend Ruth (2002), infant son Randall Clifford, parents David and Helen Kelln and in-laws Godfrey and Senda Gelhorn. Cliff was born in Winnipeg on February 9, 1937, where he resided most of his childhood and adult life. Cliff devoted his life to being a husband, dad and grandpa. As a child and young adult, Cliff's passion was sports; hockey, baseball and football. Later in life, golf became his sport of choice and once he retired he was very proud how many games he had played in a season. Dad was often referred to as Calm, Cool, Collective Cliff' by Mom and his daughters. No one had more patience than our Dad for car troubles, taxi driver and most importantly teaching his girls to be independent and fend for themselves. Cliff enjoyed being a grandpa to his four grandkids and became not only their best friend, confidant and mentor but the best place ever to go for sleepovers, scrambled egg sandwiches and ice cream treats. His freezer was always full. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held prior to the service. A memorial service will take place Friday, May 7, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Inc. at 3030 Notre Dame Avenue, across from Brookside Cemetery. Pastor Ken Douma officiating. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Cliff's memory to a charity of one's choice. NEIL BARDAL INC. (204) 949 2200 nbardal.mb.ca
