MARCIANO (SONNY) PAGTALUNAN Peacefully on April 26, 2010 Marciano Sonny Pagtalunan, age 66, passed away in Maui, Hawaii. Left to cherish his memory is his beloved mother Isidra and was predeceased by his father Marcelo. Spouse Rebecca, step-daughters Vanessa (Reynaldo) and Valerie, brothers and sisters Roberto (Aurora), Irenea, Margarita (Victorino) Evangelista, Rustico (Charito) of the Philippines, (Aurora) of New York, Cristina (Bernardo) Clemente of Vancouver, Dominador (Teresita), Teodoro (Aida), Jose (Barceliza) of Winnipeg, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, other relatives and friends in Canada, U.S.A. and the Philippines. Sonny was born in Paombong, Bulacan, Philippines on April 17, 1944, the second of 11 children. He immigrated to Winnipeg in 1992. He was a hard worker and held numerous jobs, the last of which was at Gourmet Baker. He was also a member of Cannanean Bible Study Group and Knights of Columbus. One of his greatest joys was hearing about or spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered for his love for fishing and sense of humour. Lamay will be held on Thursday and Friday, May 13 and 14, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m. at Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. (south of the Royal Canadian Mint). Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at St. Peter's Church, 748 Keewatin St. Interment will follow in Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. GLEN LAWN FUNERAL HOME 982-7550
