CARL JOSEPH KUTCHYERA December 10, 1925 - April 25, 2010 Carl passed peacefully at Riverview Health Centre after a lengthy struggle with Lewy Body dementia. He is loved and will be missed by Betty, his wife of 61 years, and his children Joanne (Victor), Warren (Karen), Len, and Carolyn (Dennis), his grandchildren Kristin, Yusef (Sarah), Colin (Nicole) and Michael, and his sister Claudette (Gordon), cousins Ron Gurak (Eileen), Lois Riccutti (Nick), Jerry Zaraski, and Don Zaraski, as well as many nieces and nephews, including Tim and Debbie who have become an integral part of the family. Carl had a rewarding career with the Canadian National Railway in many cities in Canada, and with CANAC / CIDA in Zambia and Egypt. He and Betty enjoyed retirement, playing golf and travelling in winter. He took great pride in everything he did; he was greatly respected and respectful. Heartfelt thanks to the staff of AB2 at Riverview for their exemplary care and friendship for the past three and one half years. Funeral Mass will take place in the Chapel at Riverview Health Centre (1 Morley Ave., Winnipeg) on Friday, May 14 at 12:15 p.m. with interment at Queen of Heaven Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society Of Manitoba for research.
