MONIQUE SABOT (nee MATHIEU) March 13, 1953 - May 2, 2010. It is with extreme sadness that our family announces the untimely passing of our beloved Monique, at the age of 57. Monique leaves to cherish her memory, her soulmate, best friend and husband of 40 years, Marcel; daughter Nicole and her husband Mike; son Paul and his partner Lorraine; grand-children, Mikayla, Mackenzie, Jennifer and Joshua, two sisters and one brother, sisters-in-law and their families, numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Monique was predeceased by her parents, Irène and René Mathieu; her in-laws, Léopold and Rosa Sabot, as well as several brothers and sisters-in-laws, and two nephews. Monique was a selfless woman who devoted her life to her family and friends and was an exceptional wife, mother and memère. We find some comfort in knowing she was surrounded by love at the time of her passing. The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Hospital and Health Sciences Centre for the loving care provided. As per Monique's wishes, cremation and a private family service have taken place. If friends so desire, the family suggest you plant pink petunias in her memory. DESJARDINS 233-4949. 1-888-233-4949
