GEORGES PAQUETTE Georges Paquette passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 with his loving daughter Sylvie and granddaughter Chelyta Paquette at his bedside. Georges is predeceased by his daughters, Marie Sylvie Paquette and Marie Claude Smart. Left to cherish Georges, is his loving wife Therese Paquette; son Dominique (Khoa) Paquette; daughters, Sylvie Paquette and Guylaine (Tim) Kornelson; sister Marie Gleeton; brother Larry Paquette, nine grandchildren, two great- grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Georges was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He was a very hardworking man who never missed a day of work, even when he was sick in the 55 years that he worked. He led his family with a very firm hand and taught hard lessons. He was loved by all. The family would like to thank the staff of Riverview Health Centre, Home Palliative Care worker Trish, and those providing home care support, for their care and compassion shown to Georges. Donations may be made to St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church or to a charity of one's choice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Funeral service will be held at St. Ann's Roman Catholic Church, 271 Hampton St. on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with viewing one hour prior.
