Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLYNDA WATERMAN In the early afternoon of May 11, 2010 an angel took our Mom and Granny by the hand and led her to her husband Bobby who has been waiting for almost eight years to be with her again. Our mom and granny will be greatly missed by her daughters Kim (Gerry), Roberta (Shane); grandchildren Robbie, Christy (Robert), Cole, Kaleb, and Keianna; great-grandchildren Hunter, Riley and Emersyn; brothers Jack (Lois) and Peter (Elaine); brothers-in-law Tommy (Barbara) and Lefty; sisters-in-law Eleanor, Leona, and Elenore along with numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her cat Bailey. She was predeceased by her husband Bobby, parents John and Florence Remesoff, brother Tim and several brother-and sisters-in-laws. Lynne was born on August 18, 1939 on a farm south of Kamsack, SK and moved to Selkirk at the age of 18 to attend nursing school; she graduated in 1961 and started her long, successful career as a psychiatric nurse at the Selkirk Mental Health Center where she worked until she retired in 2000. While attending nursing school she met and later married Bobby who she was happily married to for 41 years until his passing in 2002. Granny went out of her way to make sure she helped out with anything we needed. She did it all from sewing our clothes, costumes and dresses to hemming pants, fixing buttons and getting stains out. She drove her grandkids to all their doctor, dentist and hair appointments. She always made us our favourite foods and one of our fondest memories will be our every Sunday dinner at her house sitting around the table enjoying her cooking. We will always remember her roosters and coffee but more importantly that she held us all together through the years, we will never forget how much she meant to us and how much she did for us all. Funeral services will be held at the Gilbart Funeral Home in Selkirk on Monday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow at the Selkirk Legion. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date. Gilbart Funeral Home, Selkirk in care of arrangements. www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

I wish that I could have seen her, just one more time. My thoughts are for the girls and for my father who has lost his baby sister. My thoughts are with you all. That is all I can say. - Posted by: Leissa Remesoff (Family) on: May 17, 2010
