GHASSEM HAKIMI With deeply sorrowful hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Ghassem Hakimi. Mr. Hakimi winged his flight peacefully to his heavenly abode, in his 94th year, on May 13, 2010 in Winnipeg, MB after many decades of humble and sacrificial service to humanity. His caring and generous nature will be greatly missed by us all. We know he will continue to serve his Lord in the spiritual realm. Mr. Hakimi was the loving husband and consort, of 63 years, of Mrs. Homayoon Hakimi, dearly loved father of Farhad (Zarin) Hakimi, Farhang (Samina) Hakimi, Manoucher (Tahereh) Hakimi, late Houshmand (Behjat) Hakimi, Ruhiyyih (Taied) Shaeri, Mahtab (Nabil) Seddigh, Nasreen (Foad) Noorani, beloved grandfather of Meena, Sonia, Shawn, Rohan, Ahmed, Hamid, Anees and Onita Hakimi, Anahita, Niku and Bayan Shaeri, Vahid, Naim and Kalim Seddigh, Adeeb and Naegeen Noorani, and beloved great-grandfather of Faris and Fara Hakimi. Our family would be honoured if you could join us for Prayers and a celebration of Mr. Hakimi's life at the Funeral Service and interment on Sunday, May 16. The Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street, Winnipeg, MB followed by interment at the Mapleton St. Clement's Cemetery, 6159 Highway 9A, Selkirk, MB. Following the interment, you are warmly invited to a memorial reception at the Cropo Funeral Chapel Reception Hall. Sincere thanks to the staff and doctors at the St. Boniface General Hospital, 4th Floor and the ICU Unit at the Victoria General Hospital.
