PEARL MARY PENNY (nee Kozak) Peacefully, on Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Victoria General Hospital, Pearl Penny; beloved wife of Al Penny passed away at the age of 74 years. Pearl was predeceased by her parents Mary and Demetri Kozak, her brothers Steve and Paul. Her brothers-in-law Hans, Bill, Henry, Bill, Charles, sisters-in-law Kathleen, Nellie, Mary. She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Al, sons: Barry (Eleanor), Dwight, grandchildren: Scott, and Heather, sister Lillian, Helen (Bob), Bernice, brothers Joe (Rose), sisters-in-law Phyllis, Stella (Mike) and their families. She will be sadly missed by her precious Oscar. Pearl was employed with the T. Eaton Company and was a member of the Retirement Club. She also was a long time volunteer of the Glenwood Community Centre and the St. Vital Mustangs. She enjoyed her time with the Sunday Morning Breakfast Group. She enjoyed her travel to San Antonio with Al and their many friends. A celebration of Pearl's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 26, 2010, Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. A private interment will be held at Glen Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wish to thank the staff of Riverpark Gardens for their loving care of Pearl during her stay, as well as Dr. Maclean Thiessen and staff of room 242; of the Victoria hospital for his compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Pearl to the Winnipeg Humane Society, CancerCare, or Parkinsons Foundation. Glen Lawn Funeral Home 982-7550
