KATHRYN JUDITH FROESE July 18, 1944 - May 20, 2010 Kathy succumbed to illness on Thursday, May 20, 2010, at the Health Sciences Centre at the age of 66 years, fighting valiantly, struggling bravely for many, many years. Unrelenting exhaustion, nausea, pain, and indescribable weakness were her constant companions, every breath of air a struggle; we lost her, and amidst a river of tears we say goodbye. We loved her dearly; our aching hearts cannot retrieve the beat of the one we loved so dearly. Remaining to forever cherish Kathy's memory are her husband Robert; daughter Cheri (Chuck); sons Bob (Pauline), Bevan (Diane); grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Benjamin and Anna. Irrepressibly vivacious, intuitive, beautiful, charming, generous and caring, Kathy was loved by all who came in contact with her. She loved her children, adored her grandchildren. She loved the language, the arts and all things green and beautiful. After seeing our three children to adulthood, Kathy enrolled as a full time student at the University of Winnipeg, and persevered to a coveted degree in Psychology and English. Despite meticulous attention to all matters of health, exercise and diet she was robbed of her health but struggled her way through the final year of her studies, realizing the dream, but not the rewards.
