Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM ERNEST BREMNER June 20, 1918 - May 30, 2010 After a wonderful Sunday afternoon visiting with friends and family Ernie was suddenly taken home. He was predeceased by his father John, his mother Rebecca, his brothers, Francis and Donald, his wife Rose and son Clarence. He is survived by his daughter Phyllis, grandson, Kevin, sister Catherine (Kaye Jenkins), sister-in-law Margaret McGorman and many nieces and nephews. Ernie was born June 20, 1918 on a farm in Arden, MB, he was the second son of John and Rebecca Bremner. He worked for the Canadian National Railway for 36 years, retiring in Winnipeg in 1981. Ernie enjoyed life to the fullest and made many friends. He will surely be missed. A Memorial Service to celebrate Ernie's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. on Friday, June 4 at 2:00 p.m., followed by an interment and reception. Many thanks to the staff and doctors on 4 south at the Grace Hospital for their wonderful care. Flowers are gratefully declined. If you so choose donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
