ROBERT JOEL MIAULT January 10, 1932 - May 31, 2010 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Robert on May 31, 2010. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 51 years, Eileen; his children, Rodney, Pamela (Kurt) and Dan, as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Jamie; parents, Philibert and Marguerite; brother Martial; and sister Denise. Robert was born in Kenora in 1932, and was a born salesman working for The T. Eaton Co. Limited, Bryce's, Hostess Potato Chips, Humpty Dumpty Foods Ltd., Ganongs, Jardine Agencies and co-owner of Robert H. Anthony Luggage until his retirement. He made many friends over the years, in both Kenora and Winnipeg, and will be dearly missed by all of them. Dad was a strong, good-hearted and caring man. He loved to entertain everyone with his silly jokes, many of which he told over and over. He always laughed at his own jokes, which seemed to make them even funnier. As some people would say, he was quite a character. We will truly miss his great sense of humour and his good nature. A special thank you to all the Home Care nurses for their wonderful care of Robert at home, to Dr. Jinaid, Mary and Gordon McKee and Gordon Barnson. It was greatly appreciated. At Bob's request, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Expressions of sympathy may be made through donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Suite 200, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3L 0K6 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 200 - 310 Broadway, Winnipeg, Manitoba R3C 0S6. Your golden heart stopped beating Hard working hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. When we are sad and lonely And everything goes wrong, We seem to hear you whisper Cheer up and carry on . Though your laugh is gone forever Your hands we cannot touch, Thanks for all that we have shared And for loving us so much.
